April 2018 marks the appearance of two major aviation and space exhibitions in the calendar. The Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX) takes place in Hamburg from 10 April to 12 April, while the ILA Berlin Airshow will be held from 25 April to 29 April 2018. ARTS will be featuring its innovative engineering and manufacturing services, specifically tailored to the aerospace and aviation industries at both exhibitions.
Marc Bouzaid, a French national who has spent fourteen years in the field of engineering and manufacturing services management, assumed the role of chief executive for ARTS’s French business. ARTS’s French subsidiary, ARTS aero SARL, has focused on Business Process Outsourcing in the form of contracts for services and works.
ARTS, working in collaboration with Airbus and the industrial photographer, Wolfram Schroll, has created a new, artistic calendar showcasing innovations in the aviation and space industries. To mark the end of the year, ARTS will be holding a prize draw, enabling entrants to win one of five calendars, each of which measures 60 cm by 60 cm. The calendar and the associated campaign both feature under the expertise4innovations label.
Europe’s largest specialist trade show for space technology, SpaceTech Expo Europe, will be held from 24 to 26 October at the Bremen Exhibition Centre for the second time. The exhibition brings together Europe’s expertise in civil, military and commercial space travel. The specialist technology fair is a firm event in the exhibition calendar of ARTS, and the international group of companies will be exhibiting on Stand F63 in Hall 5.
Last week ARTS presented at the Paris Air Show and was able to announce a multi-year contract with the Airbus Group in France. From July the company will be responsible for Tool Shop Management for the German part of Airbus for the A350 and A380 FAL in Toulouse as well as in St. Nazaire.
