Projects for our supply-chain managers

Our supply-chain management staff is employed at locations in Donauwörth, Hamburg, Bremen and Varel, among others. In the greater Hamburg region, for example, they are part of our team supporting Airbus Operations GmbH, where they are directly in charge of logistics monitoring for the production of Airbus types A320, A350, and A380.

At the site of Premium AEROTEC in Lower Saxony's Varel, our supply-chain managers coordinate the production of the highly complex Zerspan-, Dreh-, und Frästeile within in the range of construction models in the Airbus family.

Meanwhile in Bremen, our specialists are active as supply managers in the process of equipping the full range of heavy-lift aircraft types with airfoils. As such, they oversee the production of 2.5 million components each year.

Our supply-chain managers in Bavaria work with Airbus Helicopters GmbH in Donauwörth, where they provide an interface between suppliers and the production of all types of rotary-wing aircraft.

Applying as a supply-chain manager at ARTS

We expect the following minimum qualifications from our supply-chain managers:

  • University-level degree in engineering, business or related field, ideally with a specialization in supply-chain management & logistics
  • Professional working fluency in German and English
  • Experienced with MS Office and SAP
  • Two to three years of relevant professional experience
