Working as an Engineer for the Aircraft Final Assembly, you help our customer in Munich to create faster, better and more efficient products. In your future job you will be responsible for leading the full span of the finishing line from delivery to assembly line production and quality control.

Task description

  • Implementation manufacturing and production testing solutions with regard to aircraft final assembly
  • Execution the drive “Design for make” and “Design to Value” for the type certification standard
  • Leading capability acquisition of new technologies, systems and factories for the production of primary structure components
  • Supporting supplier selection, establishment of a supply chain and introduction of the product into the supply chain and domestic factories
  • Responsibility as shop floor support and for continuous improvement across the entire production network
  • Specification and provision of new production machinery and equipment for plants
  • Focal point to engineering, purchase, quality, manufacturing and facility management functions


  • Degree in engineering preferentially in mechanical, automotive, production or aerospace
  • At least 5 years experience in a manufacturing or industrial engineering role in high volume assembly lines of automotive or small aircraft assembly
  • Knowledge in composite design, development and manufacturing, including material, equipment and machinery as well as process specification
  • Understanding in high-volume, automated manufacturing including dynamic planning and execution during production ramp up
  • Expertise of Lean skills regarding to driving continuous improvements, ergonomics, HS&E and process capability
  • Knowledge in management system with regard to MTM and REFA
  • Safe handling with MS Office, ERP, MES and CAD
  • Fluent English skills
