Working as a Specialist for the full span of the Battery Assembly line, you help our customer in Munich to create faster, better and more efficient products. In your future job you will be responsible for establishment of pilot production stations to develop stable production processes and prove rate capability.

Task description

  • Execution the drive “Design for make” and “Design to Value” for the type certification standard
  • Implementation Lead capability acquisition of new technologies, systems and factories for the production of primary structure components
  • Supporting supplier selection, establishment of a supply chain and introduction of the product into the supply chain and domestic factories
  • Responsibility as shop floor support and continuous improvement across the entire production network
  • Specification and provision of new production machinery and equipment for plants
  • Focal point to engineering, purchase, quality, manufacturing and facility management functions

Requirements

  • Degree in mechanical engineering, e.g. in automotive, production or aerospace 
  • At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial engineering role in battery package assembly planning, or with a high degree of robotic, automation and welding techniques applying high volume assembly line principles
  • Knowledge in composite design, development and manufacturing, including material, equipment and machinery as well as process specification
  • Understanding in high-volume, automated manufacturing including dynamic planning and execution during production ramp up
  • Expertise of Lean skills regarding to driving continuous improvements, ergonomics, HS&E and process capability
  • Knowledge in management system with regard to MTM and REFA
  • Safe handling with Microsoft Office, ERP, MES and CAD
  • Fluent English skills
