Supply chain quality manager as a replacement for an employee on parental leave (m/f)

We are looking to recruit a supply chain quality manager in Hamburg for our client Airbus Operations GmbH. In your future position you will be responsible for the qualification and release of suppliers. This role is being offered for a period of 3 to 5 months, working as a replacement for an employee on parental leave.

Task description

  • Planning and organisation of national and international supplier assessments and audits
  • Analysis, evaluation and monitoring of supplier performance data and responsibility for regular reporting of procurement KPIs (e.g. on delivery reliability, delivery quality, construction deviations)
  • Development and implementation of measures in the event of risks or supply and performance disruptions by suppliers
  • Control of change processes and work package transfers
  • Analysis and auditing of supplier ramp-up capability as part of program rate changes
  • Agreement of Airbus-specific quality requirements in the contractual documents
  • Definition of supply chain quality requirements for new developments and modifications
  • Transnational coordination of strategic improvement initiatives towards joint suppliers and cooperation in projects

Requirements

  • Degree in industrial engineering or in the field of supply chain quality
  • Professional experience in supply chain quality at Airbus is a prerequisite
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in purchasing
  • Knowledge of lean and project management
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office and SAP
  • Fluent command of German and English
