We are looking to recruit a test engineer for electronic systems for our client Airbus Defence and Space GmbH in Taufkirchen. In your future position you will be responsible for integrating and testing sub-systems and components.

Task description

  • Planning, development and implementation of verification and validation concepts and their reporting
  • Preparation of specifications and definition of test means and ensuring configuration control and availability of the required test means
  • Support and guidance of subcontractors and working teams
  • Analysis and diagnosis of faults in electronic systems and assemblies
  • Conformity check for customer specifications with the support of software tools such as DOORS
  • Test preparation and testing of electronic systems and assemblies before delivery and implementation of final configuration adjustments
  • Verification check and close-out from project start to product delivery
  • Preparation of verification documents in the project with regard to test plans and test procedures

Requirements

  • Engineering degree, preferably in the electrical engineering
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in the aerospace industry
  • Knowledge of testing technology for electronic hardware 
  • Experience in defining test requirements and test campaigns for digital electronics
  • Confident user of MS Office
  • Basic knowledge of programming in C,C++/C# and shell scripts
  • Fluent command of German and English
  • A willingness to travel should round off your profile
