We are currently looking for a Test Engineer, Satellites & Space for the Galileo program for a long-term project at Airbus Defence and Space GmbH in Immenstaad. Tasks

  • Conducting and developing functional tests in satellite programs (AIT)
  • Supporting the creation and validation of test procedures
  • Collaborating on the electrical integration of satellite components
  • Preparing and configuring test systems for instrument-specific tests
  • Developing and debugging test scripts
  • Evaluating test data, creating test reports, and customer documentation
  • Participation in error analysis and configuration monitoring
  • Support in the ongoing operation of satellites/instruments

Qualifications

  • Completed technical degree, e.g., in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or comparable
  • Initial professional experience in satellite AIT is an advantage
  • Knowledge of ECSS standards, encryption of satellite communications, and TM / TC (PUS)
  • Programming skills in Java and experience with Unix / Linux systems
  • Business fluent English (at least C1); German language skills are an advantage
  • Willingness to work shifts and occasionally outside the factory
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
