Tasks

  • Management and configuration of spare parts data based on technical documents and logistical analyses
  • Collaboration with the design department to evaluate interchangeability and impact on existing helicopter configurations
  • Creation and maintenance of illustrated spare parts catalogs (IPC)
  • Evaluating technical changes (e.g., through technical change requests, service bulletins, or supplier data) and adjusting the spare parts structure in the databases
  • Supporting bids in the area of integrated logistics support (ILS) for new helicopter variants
  • Creation of technical documents and selection of spare parts in accordance with the US military standard MIL-STD 1388-2B
  • Maintenance of structural data and spare parts lists in accordance with the industry standard S2000M
  • Visualization of the assembly structure and digital models in the so-called IPL system (Illustrated Parts List)

Qualifications

  • Completed degree in aerospace or, alternatively, comparable training (e.g., state-certified technician) with relevant professional experience
  • Many years of professional experience in engineering, ideally related to configuration management or support services
  • Knowledge of creating illustrated spare parts catalogs; experience with S2000M, S1000D, S3000L, or MIL-STD 1388 2B desirable
  • Technical understanding of helicopter systems and their components
  • Sound IT skills in MS Office, SAP, G-Suite, and documentation software
  • Business fluent German and English (at least C1 in each), French skills an advantage
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
