As part of our wire harness production, we ensure that our customers have functional wire harnesses available during their aircraft production and maintenance processes. We minimise electrical faults that lead to the failure of important electrical and electronic systems in aircraft.

Regardless of your location, we manufacture wire harnesses for you according to your specifications and technical drawings. ARTS Solutions has its own fully equipped wire shop where we stock specific tools and wire boards. We are also happy to take care of the cable length determination for you directly on the aircraft.

We only use approved materials in the manufacturing of wire harnesses, e.g. electrical wires and cables, optical fibres, heat-shrinkable tubing, etc. We connect plugs, pins and wires to the actuators / devices. We produce single units as well as complete batches.

Following wire harness production, pin to pin testing is carried out before the wire harnesses are delivered to the customer and, if required, installed in the aircraft or on assemblies. Each final handover is accompanied by comprehensive documentation.

Wire Harness Assembly Reference Projects

Wire Harness Assembly for three Airbus A350s

Lufthansa VIP was responsible for equipping three government aircraft of the type Airbus A350 for the German federal government. ARTS Solutions produced a total of 52 wire harnesses in its own wire shop in Dresden in accordance with the customer's requirements for the various zones in the Airbus A350 cabins.

The basis for the wire harness assembly were 1:1 drawings of the overhead and sidewall panels. Required cable lengths were measured, cables were laid according to drawings, connector pins and cable lugs were crimped, connectors and terminals were configured and pin-to-pin testing was carried out. After a final quality check, the wire harnesses were laid on the overhead and sidewall panels at the customer's site in Hamburg and finally installed. Due to our precise working methods and high quality standards, there were no customer complaints or findings. All subsequent process steps of the aircraft equipment could be carried out without any further additional work.
