Your Benefits

Flexible Teardown Execution

We carry out teardowns either on-site or by relocating the aircraft, depending on your requirements. This adaptability helps minimize downtime and optimizes asset value recovery.

Storage & Preservation

From structural checks to full system preservation, we manage each step with OEM and regulatory compliance. Your aircraft remains protected, traceable, and ready for reactivation at any time.

Experienced Aviation Partner

With over 25 years in the industry, we combine technical expertise with operational reliability. Our international presence enables fast, region-specific support wherever your aircraft is located.

Certified Quality
Standards

All processes follow ISO 14001:2015 environmental management standards and established aviation protocols like ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and AS 9120. This ensures compliance, safety, and sustainability across the entire service cycle.

Strategic
Location

Our hangar in Toulouse offers direct airside access and proximity to OEM Final Assembly Lines. This reduces logistical effort and supports faster transitions between storage, aircraft maintenance, and production phases.

Our Teardown & Hangarage Services In Detail

Aircraft Teardown

Wherever your aircraft is located, we can support you with structured, efficient teardown solutions. Our services are designed to maximise the residual value of your asset while ensuring a compliant and sustainable dismantling process.

Our teardown process includes:

  • Identifying and assessing aircraft for disassembly
  • Asset valuation through detailed records review and inspections
  • Contract negotiation and purchase coordination
  • Logistics: on-site dismantling or transport to a teardown location
  • Professional part-out and salvage of valuable components
  • Storage, resale coordination, or certified disposal of parts

We conduct all activities in strict adherence to international quality and environmental standards, including ISO 14001:2015, ensuring your teardown project is both operationally efficient and aligned with sustainability goals.

Aircraft Hangarage & Storage

At our facility at Toulouse-Blagnac Airport (TLS), we offer more than just parking. Whether your aircraft is temporarily out of operation, in transition, or awaiting its next phase, we provide a controlled environment backed by structured storage and preservation processes.

Facility highlights:

  • Capacity for 1 Narrowbody or 2 Regional Jets
  • Dedicated parking apron
  • Direct airside access and proximity to OEM Final Assembly Lines (FAL)
  • Fully refurbished in late 2023 for modern operational standards

Integrated Storage & Preservation Services:

Aircraft on ground need consistent care to remain operationally viable. Our production support team ensures your assets are protected and compliant, regardless of how long they remain in storage. We tailor our preservation concepts to your aircraft type and storage duration, aligning every step with OEM and regulatory standards.

Our storage solutions include:

  • Regular interval inspections (structure, fluids, electrical, avionics)
  • Environmental protection and corrosion control
  • Preservation of engines, APU, fuel systems, brakes, and cabin interiors
  • Sealing, desiccant application, and system deactivation where required
  • Full documentation and traceability for each asset

When reactivation is needed, we handle the entire process — from de-preservation and system checks to documentation updates and functional tests — ensuring a smooth return to service or reintegration into the production flow.

FAQs Aircraft Teardown & Hangarage

Yes. Our hangar at Toulouse-Blagnac Airport (TLS) is designed to accommodate one narrowbody aircraft (such as an Airbus A320 family aircraft) or two regional jets simultaneously. This capacity allows us to service typical single-aisle aircraft efficiently within a fully refurbished, secure environment. For widebody or heavier aircraft that exceed this physical capacity, we offer alternative options: either outdoor apron parking on-site or coordination with partner facilities at other ARTS Group locations or certified service providers. This ensures we can still support your needs, even when aircraft size exceeds hangar limitations.

Yes. We provide both short-term and long-term hangarage solutions to match your operational planning. Whether you're waiting for a delivery slot, undergoing aircraft transitions, or facing temporary grounding, our facility in Toulouse offers flexible scheduling. During the parking period, we implement structured inspection and preservation routines, ensuring that all aircraft remain in airworthy condition and can be returned to service without unnecessary delays. These routines are fully compliant with OEM and regulatory standards and are carried out by our certified teams.

The reactivation timeline depends on several factors, including how long the aircraft has been stored, the preservation status, aircraft type, and the specific operator requirements. Our processes are designed to minimize turnaround time while ensuring full compliance. Upon notification of reactivation, we begin with de-preservation tasks such as removing protective seals and desiccants, reinitialising systems, and conducting system and functional tests. We also update documentation and coordinate with the production or maintenance teams to ensure seamless integration into your fleet or production flow. Thanks to our structured procedures and experienced personnel, aircraft reactivation is both efficient and reliable.

Yes. While our hangar in Toulouse can support specific teardown activities, ARTS Group’s teardown services are not limited to one location. We offer global teardown execution — either at the aircraft’s current location or at a dismantling site best suited for the project. This flexibility is especially valuable when transporting the aircraft is not cost-effective or feasible. Our team handles all aspects of teardown logistics, including disassembly planning, personnel deployment, tooling, and site coordination, ensuring consistent service quality wherever the aircraft is located.

Following dismantling, all usable components are carefully removed, inspected, and catalogued. These parts are then either stored in controlled environments, sent for repair or overhaul, or prepared for resale — depending on the asset owner’s strategy. Non-functional or obsolete parts are disposed of in accordance with certified environmental and safety regulations. Our processes are aligned with ISO 14001:2015, ensuring that component handling and disposal are both sustainable and traceable at every step.

Yes. As part of our end-of-life support services, we offer asset and supply chain management to assist with the resale of salvaged components. Leveraging our industry network and technical expertise, we help identify marketable parts, assess their value, and manage the resale process on your behalf. This approach ensures that you maximize the residual value of your asset while minimizing administrative effort. Our integrated service model allows us to manage everything from teardown to parts trading in a seamless, coordinated way.

These services are part of our integrated Aviation Asset Management offering, which also includes supply chain support, inventory optimisation, and technical aviation consultancy.
