Tasks
- Integration of mechanical components, cable harnesses and assemblies based on technical drawings and work orders
- Independent assembly, inspection and handover to quality assurance
- Documentation of work steps in SAP, including troubleshooting if needed
- Carrying out repairs according to repair orders
- Support for technical assessments and contribution to continuous improvement activities
- Inspection of work before, during and after integration
- Collaboration within the team and coordination with the team leader
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic, aircraft builder, mechatronics technician or a comparable qualification in the metal or electrical sector, ideally with aerospace experience
- Extensive professional experience in aircraft construction and in quality assurance
- Several years of experience in integrating aerospace devices is an advantage
- Advanced skills in SAP and confident use of MS Office
- Fluent German skills (at least C1) and advanced English skills (at least B2)
- Willingness to work shifts and to travel occasionally
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
