On behalf of our client, Diehl Aviation Hamburg GmbH, we are currently looking for a Development Engineer Assemblies & Systems to join their team in Hamburg Finkenwerder as soon as possible. This role focuses on mechanical design, process optimization, and the technical implementation of aerospace solutions. You can expect a dynamic project environment that combines technological depth with real decision-making freedom.

Tasks

  • Creation of construction documents for components, assemblies, and shipsets according to specifications
  • Detailing of technical solutions in close coordination with supervisors and specialist departments
  • Further development of existing processes in the technical field under defined conditions
  • Implementation of new methods to optimize construction processes
  • Documentation and version control of technical documents

Qualifications

  • Successfully completed degree in civil engineering, industrial engineering, aerospace engineering, or a comparable qualification (at least certified technician or business administrator)
  • Several years of professional experience in the aerospace industry
  • In-depth knowledge of CATIA V5 and SAP
  • Very good knowledge of German (at least C1) and good knowledge of English (at least B2)
  • Quick comprehension, structured working style, team spirit, and a strong sense of responsibility
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
