In this role, you’ll take on a key position in technical facility management – from operations and maintenance to strategic infrastructure planning. Tasks

  • Coordination and supervision of maintenance activities related to building structure, fire protection and safety systems
  • External contractor management: selection, commissioning, instruction and monitoring of service providers
  • Creation and maintenance of inspection, maintenance and testing schedules
  • Scheduling and supervision of expert inspections and ensuring compliance with legal requirements
  • Technical review of offers, invoice approval and communication with suppliers
  • Support in the digitalisation of building documentation
  • Participation in audits, monitoring of defined KPIs and providing advice to relevant departments
  • Collaboration on new construction and renovation projects as well as responsibility for maintenance-related initiatives

Qualifications

  • Completed degree in industrial or civil engineering, or certified technician / master craftsman in facility management or construction technology
  • Several years of professional experience in maintenance and project management
  • In-depth knowledge of technical building equipment, building envelope (roof and structure), structural fire protection, as well as fire alarm and safety systems
  • Proven experience in managing external service providers, project and construction management including final acceptance, and confident handling of applicable standards (DIN / VDE / VDS)
  • Knowledge of crane systems is desirable
  • Valid class B/3 driving licence required
  • Good knowledge of Google Workspace
  • German fluent (min. C1), English proficient (min. B2)
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
