We are currently looking for an analytical Financial Controller Aviation Industry in Manching for our client Airbus Defence and Space. In this role, you will play an active role in the financial management of complex contracts. This is a parental leave replacement position and therefore a fixed-term contract until October 31, 2026, with the option of extension. Tasks
- Controlling profit and loss statements for managed contract portfolios
- Preparing and maintaining estimates at completion (EAC) in accordance with IFRS 15
- Invoicing customers for service milestones, including compliance with legal requirements
- Independent preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
- Cash flow management, contract value updates and actual/target analyses using SAP
- Collaboration on forecasts, operational planning and regular reporting
- Participation in risk and opportunity management, including participation in reviews
- Support in preparing quotations and developing optimization proposals
Qualifications
- Completed master's or diploma degree in business administration
- Alternatively: Vocational training with additional further training as a business administrator and several years of relevant professional experience (adjusted classification)
- Several years of professional experience in finance
- Several years of experience in preparing P&L statements, monthly financial statements and invoicing
- Specialist knowledge of MS Office and SAP
- Business fluent German and English skills (at least C1)
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
