We are currently looking for a dedicated Manufacturing Engineer for our client Airbus Operations GmbH at their Hamburg-Finkenwerder site. If you feel at home coordinating the manufacturing of international supplier projects and enjoy taking on technical, operational, and strategic responsibility, this position is perfect for you. Tasks

  • Coordination of manufacturing issues for external suppliers in the field of aircraft structure components (work packages)
  • Conducting supplier reviews and APQP meetings to track manufacturing readiness levels
  • Evaluation of technical offers and competencies of suppliers in the tendering phase
  • Supporting transfers of work, including first article inspections and first part qualifications
  • Tracking and approving jigs and tools in close cooperation with suppliers and their subcontractors
  • Annual collection and analysis of tool register data, identification of risks in tooling
  • Supporting technical issues togetherwith supply chain and plant teams

Qualifications

  • Completed degree in Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a comparable field
  • Extensive professional experience in Manufacturing Engineering and in Project Management
  • Several years of experience in production planning, aircraft manufacturing, project management and supply chain
  • Basic knowledge of process management required
  • Excellent skills in Google Workspace
  • Business fluent German and English language skills (at least C1)
  • Willingness to travel internationally
  • CV in English required
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
