Tasks

  • Reviewing and sorting of construction documents and work orders
  • Preparing components and assembly stations
  • Inspecting and providing FEMI (Functional Equipment and Manufacturing Information)
  • Drilling and countersinking according to technical drawings
  • Applying sealing and bonding compounds
  • Assembling subassemblies from various individual parts and installing fasteners
  • Preserving components, e.g. threaded connections
  • Completing work orders in accordance with deadlines

Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training as aircraft mechanic, avionic technician, process mechanic for coating technology or in a metalworking profession
  • Long-standing professional experience in manufacturing / production, aircraft construction and mechanics
  • Experience in assembly mechanics is an advantage
  • Initial knowledge of SAP
  • German language skills at business fluent level (min. C1) and basic English skills (min. A1)
  • Willingness to work in a 2-shift system and to perform overtime
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is absolutely required
