Tasks
- Processing of metal by forming and machine operations
- Assembly and integration of components into metal structures
- Working with subassemblies made of composite materials
- Performing riveting, bonding and bolting tasks on sheet metal parts (e.g. firewalls, bulkheads)
- Optimising production processes for complex assemblies
- Assigning materials to specific work orders and documenting each work step
- Prototype assembly tasks for testing new structural components
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic, industrial mechanic or in a comparable metalworking profession
- Extensive professional experience in manufacturing/production, aircraft construction, aircraft mechanics and in the field of sheet metal
- German language skills at negotiation level (at least C1) and basic knowledge of English (at least A2)
- Willingness to work in shifts
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (student visas are not accepted)
