As an Mechanic in Plastics Technology & Fiber Composites at Airbus Aerostructures GmbH in Stade, you will play a central role in the production of high-performance components made of fiber composites. Tasks
- Fine fettling and grinding of resin and component edges to size
- Laminating carbon fiber reinforced plastic / glass fiber reinforced plastic
- Producing vacuum assemblies for further processing
- Ordering and picking the required materials
- Documenting work processes and complaints
- Operating lifting and hoisting equipment in the production area
- Transporting work and operating equipment and carrying out minor maintenance work
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as a boat builder, precision mechanic, carpenter, process mechanic for plastics and rubber technology or comparable
- Several years of professional experience in the field of plastics and rubber technology
- Fluent German (min. C1) and basic English (min. A2)
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
- Crane license required
- Willingness to work in 3 shifts
