Tasks

  • Development and design of complex fixtures, components, and assemblies for machining aircraft components made of metal or composite materials
  • Creation of production-ready drawings, parts lists, and technical documentation
  • Planning, procurement, commissioning, and modification of operating resources and special fixtures
  • Analysis and further development of existing systems to optimize manufacturing processes
  • Approval and acceptance of designs and manufactured fixtures
  • Collaboration on national and international projects for equipping production facilities
  • Advising internal departments on operating resources and fixture technology

Qualifications

  • Completed university degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable field
  • Initial professional experience in fixture design required
  • Knowledge of product and operational safety (e.g., Machinery Directive, Product Safety Act, Industrial Safety Regulation)
  • Confident use of CAD software, ideally SolidWorks
  • Good general IT skills, especially Microsoft Office
  • Good German and English skills (at least B2)
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
