We are looking for motivated Mechanics for our customer Airbus Helicopters Deutschland GmbH to participate in  Mechanical Fundamentals Training in Donauwörth. This intensive training course will give you the technical foundation you need for a future in aviation – practical, professional, and right in the workshop. The course will take place from November 10, 2025, to November 28, 2025. After successful completion, you are scheduled to start at Airbus Helicopters on December 1, 2025. Tasks

Course Content:

  • Teaching practical knowledge in manufacturing, assembly, and quality control specifically tailored to the aviation industry
  • Simulation of real work processes with manufacturing orders and internal requirements
  • Learning a quality-oriented way of working
  • Raising awareness of aviation safety issues, in particular FOD (Foreign Object Damage)


Goals:

  • Precise working and measuring: handling measuring tools and correctly documenting results
  • Assembly skills: screws, nuts, rivets, adhesive bonds, and securing and locking techniques
  • Manufacturing and surface treatment: drilling, reaming, countersinking, deburring, surface preparation and protection
  • Quality & safety: Application of quality management systems, FOD guidelines, occupational safety and handling of hazardous materials
  • Documentation & work documents: Use of technical specifications, manufacturing instructions, and correct documentation of components
  • Error & process management: Evaluation of measurement results and application of the NC process in the event of manufacturing errors

Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training as a mechanic, mechatronics technician or comparable industrial training
  • Several years of professional experience in the areas of manufacturing, maintenance, structural assembly and mechatronics
  • Several years of professional experience as a helicopter mechanic, in aviation mechanics and in industrial mechanics
  • Business fluent German (at least C1) and advanced English (at least B2)
  • Willingness to work shifts and overtime after training (depending on the area of application)
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
