At Airbus Aerostructures GmbH, you work directly on components that will later be installed in the wings, fuselage or control surfaces of modern commercial aircraft. As a Production Employee in Surface Protection, you prepare surfaces, ensure quality and lay the foundation for the next steps in production. Technical understanding, precision and team spirit are essential for this role.

The gross annual salary ranges, depending on qualifications, from €36,800 to a maximum of €38,900. Please note that we can only consider candidates with a valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa).

Tasks

• Assembling and dismantling work areas, components and assemblies according to specifications
• Preparing tools and materials for the surface protection process
• Cleaning and degreasing metal surfaces according to technical documentation
• Masking and sealing components in accordance with work instructions and drawings
• Applying preservatives, manual or machine sanding and marking parts as specified
• Packaging and dispatching finished parts or transport racks

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training as a vehicle painter, industrial mechanic or process mechanic for coating technology
• Several years of professional experience in production or manufacturing
• Experience in surface protection in aircraft construction desirable
• Good knowledge of German (at least B2) and basic English (at least A2)
• Willingness to work shifts in a 3-/4-shift system
• A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
