Tasks
- Planning, procurement, commissioning and modification of production equipment and machinery, with a focus on paint systems and surface coating technologies
- Further development of existing systems to increase efficiency
- Automation of technical processes to ensure optimal capacity utilization
- Participation in national and international projects for the equipment of production facilities
- Consulting internal clients regarding machinery, equipment and tooling
- Consideration of safety and environmental standards in equipment planning
Qualifications
- Completed university degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering or production engineering
- Initial professional experience in handling production equipment or technical building services (TGA) is desirable
- Basic knowledge of occupational safety and environmental regulations (e.g. Machinery Directive, Federal Immission Control Act, Technical Instructions on Air Quality Control, Industrial Safety Regulation) is required
- Good general IT skills
- Very good German skills (at least B2) and good English skills (at least B1)
- Analytical and conceptual thinking and acting, as well as strong team orientation
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
