Tasks
- Compilation of delivery items into complete delivery orders in the system
- Preparation of shipping documents including customs and export documentation as well as their tracking and closure
- Assignment of transport orders to freight forwarding and logistics service providers
- Registration of air freight shipments with the forwarder and collection of all relevant freight data
- Invoice verification by comparing freight invoices with archived shipping documents
- Coordination of the internal flow of information within the department
- Documentation and archiving in accordance with aviation standards
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as an industrial clerk, wholesale and foreign trade clerk, freight forwarding and logistics clerk or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in logistics administration
- Sound knowledge of SAP and MS Office
- Very good German language skills (at least C1) and basic English language skills (at least A2)
- Structured, conscientious and independent working style
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (student visas are not sufficient) is mandatory
