Tasks

  • Development and creation of system architecture for complex mechatronic and optronic products
  • System breakdown into the disciplines of electronics, mechanics, software, and optics
  • Support for the entire system across locations in an international environment
  • Coordination of technical product development in an interdisciplinary team
  • Implementation of requirements management and definition of the scope of development
  • Definition and support of tests, including review, troubleshooting, and quality gate preparation
  • Creation of technical quantity structures, bid support, and cost-performance evaluation
  • Support of series production and optimization of engineering processes and tools (e.g., DOORS, ECM)

Qualifications

  • Completed degree in physics, mechatronics, aerospace, mechanical engineering or a comparable field
  • Several years of professional experience in the development of technical devices, systems engineering, requirements management, and ideally in a military environment
  • Good knowledge of DOORS, Enterprise Architect, or comparable tools
  • Confident use of Q tools for error analysis (e.g., 8D, A3, Six Sigma)
  • Experience with development tools such as Creo or Pulsonix is an advantage
  • Good understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes and experience in dealing with cooperation partners
  • Good knowledge of SAP (material, document, and parts list management)
  • Business fluent German (at least C1) and advanced English (at least B2)
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
