Tasks

  • Negotiation of product-specific modifications within the scope of customer projects, taking into account commercial and schedule requirements
  • Management of procurement processes, including quotation handling and contract negotiations
  • Monitoring of contract execution throughout the entire lifecycle – from development to support
  • Ensuring supplier performance in terms of quality, logistics, support and cost
  • Maintaining supplier relationships while actively minimizing risks and optimizing costs
  • Active participation in cross-functional teams (MFT/MDT) during tender and contract phases
  • Contribution to the continuous improvement of procurement processes

Qualifications

  • Completed degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or International Management
  • Several years of professional experience in procurement, supplier management, supply chain/logistics and contract management
  • Initial hands-on experience with SAP; knowledge of Google Workspace is an advantage
  • Experience at Airbus is a plus
  • Fluent English skills (at least C1); German skills are an advantage
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (1–4 times per year)
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is strictly required
