Tasks

  • Analysis and optimization of existing industrial systems as well as development and implementation of improved technical solutions
  • Conducting feasibility studies and economic analyses
  • Leading and implementing lean line design workshops (LLD, LDG, LDM)
  • Value stream analysis and flow management control
  • Use of project management tools such as PERT and GTV for bottleneck analysis
  • Preparation and implementation of virtual run-at-rate validations
  • Layout designs for production lines, including cycle times, buffer zones, and workplace allocation
  • Coordination of external service providers and suppliers in the project context
  • Creation of technical documentation and training of employees

Qualifications

  • Completed degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable technical field
  • Several years of professional experience in manufacturing/production, project management, process planning, quality management and data analysis
  • Confident use of SAP, Google Workspace (G Suite), and basic knowledge of Catia V5
  • In-depth knowledge of lean management
  • Experience with norms and standards such as ISO 9001 desirable
  • Business fluent German and English skills (at least C1)
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa)
