Tasks
- Analysis and optimization of existing industrial systems as well as development and implementation of improved technical solutions
- Conducting feasibility studies and economic analyses
- Leading and implementing lean line design workshops (LLD, LDG, LDM)
- Value stream analysis and flow management control
- Use of project management tools such as PERT and GTV for bottleneck analysis
- Preparation and implementation of virtual run-at-rate validations
- Layout designs for production lines, including cycle times, buffer zones, and workplace allocation
- Coordination of external service providers and suppliers in the project context
- Creation of technical documentation and training of employees
Qualifications
- Completed degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable technical field
- Several years of professional experience in manufacturing/production, project management, process planning, quality management and data analysis
- Confident use of SAP, Google Workspace (G Suite), and basic knowledge of Catia V5
- In-depth knowledge of lean management
- Experience with norms and standards such as ISO 9001 desirable
- Business fluent German and English skills (at least C1)
- Willingness to travel occasionally
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa)
