We are looking for you as a Technical Purchaser Supply Chain for our customer Airbus Helicopters Deutschland GmbH at their Donauwörth site. In this position, you will play a central role in material planning and supplier coordination – for both military and civil aviation systems. If you have experience in procurement, are solution-oriented, and have a good sense of quality and processes, we look forward to receiving your application! Tasks
- Anticipatory procurement of standard civiland military parts to ensure material availability
- Execution of rapid and immediate procurements
- Coordination of new component introductions and close cooperation with suppliers
- Handling of quality issues and implementation of measures for revalidation and shelf life extension
- Management of supplier performance, including catch-up plans, capacity analyses, delivery time negotiations, and escalation management
- Collaboration in supply chain optimization projects, including reducing replacement times and costs
- Communication with internal interfaces such as purchasing, logistics, quality, engineering, production, and export control
- Responsibility for on-time delivery, inventory management, and continuous improvement of key performance indicators (KPIs)
Qualifications
- Completed commercial or technical training with additional qualification as a technician, master craftsman or specialist
- Several years of professional experience in purchasing, supply chain and quality assurance
- In-depth knowledge of MS Office and SAP R/3
- Business fluent German and English skills (at least C1)
- Willingness to travel required
- Resume in English required
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
