Tasks
- Selection of appropriate measurement strategies and systems for specific inspection tasks
- Preparation of 3D CAD models for measurement planning and creation of measurement sequence control
- Execution, analysis and visualization of measurement results
- Identification of deviations as well as derivation and implementation of corrective actions
- Collaboration with various departments for technical coordination
- Documentation and further development of measurement processes and standards
Qualifications
- Completed degree in Geomatics, Mechanical Engineering, Metrology, Mechatronics or a comparable technical field of study
- Extensive experience in metrology and in the field of jigs & tools
- Several years of experience in engineering, manufacturing / production, quality management, and geomatics / surveying
- Good knowledge in performing 3D measurement methods, especially using 3D coordinate measuring machines and length measurement tools
- Practical experience with laser measurement and scanning systems
- Confident use of Spatial Analyzer, Polyworks or comparable metrology software; good knowledge of Google Workspace
- Business fluent German skills (at least C1) and advanced English skills (at least B1)
- Willingness to work in a 2-shift system
- A valid and unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
