Tasks
- Inspecting incoming goods for visible damage and verifying packing lists, parts and serial numbers
- Posting goods receipts for both large and small parts – including customs goods
- Indexing and labelling of incoming goods
- Entering and maintaining data in the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Communicating with customs, reviewing documentation and ensuring timely submission
- Processing open bookings and supporting the resolution of irregularities
- Acting as an internal point of contact for order handling
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training, e.g. as a warehouse logistics specialist or comparable commercial training is an advantage
- Several years of professional experience in operational contract logistics
- Ideally, initial knowledge of customs procedures
- In-depth knowledge of SAP and other IT and inventory management systems (e.g. PTS)
- Proficient German language skills (at least C1) and basic English skills (at least A2)
- Willingness to work in a two-shift system
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatorry
