Tasks
- Inspection of incoming goods deliveries, including accompanying documents, quantities, and identification numbers
- Identification and documentation of damages; if necessary, storage in the quarantine warehouse
- Storage and repackaging of materials as well as preparation for outbound shipments according to specifications
- Cutting of bar material to specified lengths based on production orders
- Operation of basic transport equipment such as forklifts and hand-guided industrial trucks
- Recording of relevant warehouse data (e.g. barcode, quantity, weight, storage location)
- Execution of inventory checks and environmentally responsible disposal of packaging materials
- Ensuring general order and cleanliness in the warehouse area
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as a warehouse logistics specialist, warehouse operator or a comparable qualification
- Long-term professional experience in warehouse logistics
- Forklift license is mandatory
- Confident use of MS Office and initial experience with SAP
- German language skills at negotiation level (at least C1), basic English skills (at least A2)
- Strong team player with a high sense of responsibility and organizational skills
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (student visa not sufficient) is mandatory
