Tasks

• Inspection of incoming goods deliveries, including accompanying documents, quantities, and identification numbers
• Identification and documentation of damages; if necessary, storage in the quarantine warehouse
• Storage and repackaging of materials as well as preparation for outbound shipments according to specifications
• Cutting of bar material to specified lengths based on production orders
• Operation of basic transport equipment such as forklifts and hand-guided industrial trucks
• Recording of relevant warehouse data (e.g. barcode, quantity, weight, storage location)
• Execution of inventory checks and environmentally responsible disposal of packaging materials
• Ensuring general order and cleanliness in the warehouse area

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training as a warehouse logistics specialist, warehouse operator or a comparable qualification
• Long-term professional experience in warehouse logistics
• Forklift license is mandatory
• Confident use of MS Office and initial experience with SAP
• German language skills at negotiation level (at least C1), basic English skills (at least A2)
• Strong team player with a high sense of responsibility and organizational skills
• A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (student visa not sufficient) is mandatory
