Responsibilities


  • Functional testing: Independently develop and execute tests within AIT satellite programs
  • Test specifications and test procedures: Co-develop, create, and review them
  • Electrical integration: Actively support the integration of satellites and instruments
  • Test data: Prepare, evaluate, and present findings to the customer
  • Test reports and documentation: Author reports and document test results
  • Satellite operations and configuration analysis: Support operations and the analysis and documentation of configurations
  • Failure analysis: Conduct NCR investigations as part of test activities


Qualifications

  • Successfully completed degree (at least Bachelor's) in Aerospace Engineering, Technical Computer Science, or a comparable technical field
  • Initial professional experience (1-2 years) in the field of functional satellite AIT (Assembly, Integration and Test)
  • Knowledge of ECSS standards and of TM/TC (PUS) for satellites/instruments is advantageous
  • Proficient use of Unix and MS Office; experience with Java is desirable
  • Business fluent German (at least C1) and business fluent English (at least C1)
  • Willingness to travel within Europe and to work occasional shifts
  • Teamwork skills, excellent communication skills, and an independent way of working
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
