For our client Airbus Aerostructures GmbH, we are looking for an CNC Operator / Programmer at the Augsburg site. In a state-of-the-art manufacturing environment, you take over the complete process chain on CNC machines – from setting up and dismantling to program initiation and quality control. Your meticulous work approach and technical understanding are the key to efficient and trouble-free series production.

Responsibilities
- Machine Operation: Setting up and dismantling CNC machines as well as initiating machine start-up
- Process Monitoring: Continuous monitoring of the machine during program execution
- Quality Control: Performing intermediate inspection steps to ensure manufacturing quality
- Troubleshooting: Resolving minor machine malfunctions to minimize downtime
- Process Optimization: Active participation in the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes
- Efficiency Increase: Reducing disturbances and non-productive times for a smooth production flow
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as a Machine Fitter or Machining Mechanic
- Many years of professional experience in manufacturing and production
- Several years of experience in industrial mechanics and practical machine operation
- Experience with Siemens 840D control systems and good knowledge of technical drawing interpretation
- Detailed specialist knowledge in MS Office; IT affinity is desirable
- Business fluent German (at least C1); basic skills in English (at least A2)
- Willingness to work in a 4-shift operation; spatial imagination
- Teamwork skills, meticulous and precise work approach, and initiative
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
