For our client HENSOLDT Sensors GmbH, we are looking for an DevOps Engineer, AI Platform at the location Taufkirchen / Munich. You will develop and operate a robust AI platform on Kubernetes, orchestrate Large Language Models on GPU servers, and establish MLOps standards for productive GenAI services.

The gross annual salary is, depending on qualifications, max. 69,809 €. This position is initially to be filled on a fixed-term basis until 31.12.2026. Responsibilities


  • AI Platform: Build and develop on Kubernetes
  • Large Language Models: Deploy and operate on GPU servers
  • Model Serving: Design high-performance inference services
  • MLOps Standards: Establish and develop the on-prem platform (ClearML, OpenShift)
  • LLMOps Workflows: Implement for productive GenAI services
  • Containerization: Containerize and deploy AI services using Docker and Kubernetes
  • GPU/CPU Workloads: Scale and optimize
  • Monitoring, Logging & Observability: Build for AI systems


Qualifications

  • Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable field (at least Bachelor's)
  • Several years of professional experience in building or operating cloud, platform, or infrastructure systems
  • Experience in MLOps/LLMOps (model/prompt lifecycle, serving, evaluation, monitoring) and with productive AI systems
  • Good knowledge of Kubernetes and container technologies as well as experience with microservices, APIs, and distributed systems
  • Business fluent in German (at least C1) and English (at least C1)
  • Experience with DevOps practices such as CI/CD, GitOps, Infrastructure-as-Code and GPU workloads is advantageous
  • Structured, independent working style and strong communication and moderation skills
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
