Responsibilities


  • System architecture for hybrid and electric propulsion components (e.g., eMotors, batteries, power electronics) by conducting pre-sizing and development
  • Trade-off analyses to evaluate and optimize weight, performance, and integration efficiency of diverse concepts
  • Interface management across subsystems, including the design of electrical networks and low-voltage/high-voltage harness routing
  • Validation and verification planning and execution, including defining test objectives and creating detailed test procedures
  • Test bench setup and commissioning, from detailed design of electrical cabinets to installation of the system under test
  • Test operation and automation, including troubleshooting, data acquisition, and real-time computing
  • Data analysis and evaluation to assess system behavior against requirements and deliver final test reports
  • Continuous improvement of test means availability and reliability


Qualifications

  • Successfully completed Master's or Diplom degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable field
  • Many years of professional experience as a Design Engineer or Development Engineer in the field of electrical engineering
  • Extensive experience in electrical systems design (e.g., eMotor, power electronics, batteries, LV/HV networks) and systems testing
  • Knowledge of MATLAB, Flexpro, Google Workplace, Python, or similar tools, as well as integrated measurement systems and PLC integration (e.g., AIDASS)
  • Business fluent English (at least C1)
  • Willingness to travel
  • Creative and solution-oriented mindset, team player skills, and good stakeholder communication
  • CV in English required
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
