At Airbus Defence and Space GmbH in Manching, you will take on the role of Electrical Engineer / Computer Scientist as a Test Engineer, responsible for system and software integration tests of one of the most modern fighter aircraft. Working in an international team at the interface between development and quality assurance, you ensure the functionality of critical systems.

The gross annual salary is, depending on qualifications, max. 69,809 €. This position is initially to be filled on a fixed-term basis until 31.05.2027. Responsibilities


  • Test definition for system and software integration tests at various levels (L1, L2, L3)
  • Test procedures and test cases for equipment integration
  • Test execution at specialized test facilities (Test RIGs)
  • Result evaluation and analysis of signal graphs after test runs
  • Test reports after completion of test phases
  • Technical reviews of the created test documentation
  • Documentation support for test procedures, reports, and problem reports
  • Macro development for the creation and maintenance of test scripts


Qualifications

  • Successfully completed Master's or Diplom degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable field
  • Many years of professional experience in testing, ideally in the aerospace industry
  • Good knowledge of the entire flight control system
  • Knowledge of the test support systems used (e.g., MaTE, AIDASS) is an advantage
  • German skills at least proficient; English skills business fluent (at least C1)
  • Certification as Certified Tester Foundation Level (ISTQB) is an advantage
  • Strong teamwork skills, independence, and good communication skills
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
