For our client HENSOLDT Sensors GmbH, we are looking for an Embedded Software Developer at the Taufkirchen / Munich site. In the IFF/COMMS Product Development department, you will develop embedded and application software for state-of-the-art airspace surveillance and communication systems – from secondary radar to user interfaces for military and civil platforms.

The gross annual salary is, depending on qualifications, max. 63,141 €. This position is initially to be filled on a fixed-term basis until 30.04.2027. Responsibilities


  • Software development in C for real-time, multitasking Linux applications
  • Requirements management: Creation and maintenance of software requirements (SW Requirements)
  • Software design: Creation of design artifacts and models, for example using UML
  • Process compliance: Application and co-design of the defined development process
  • Quality assurance: Execution of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) and unit tests
  • System administration: Maintenance and care of the Linux-based infrastructure


Qualifications

  • Successfully completed degree in Computer Science or a comparable field (at least Bachelor's)
  • Several years of professional experience in application software development with good programming skills in C
  • Confident handling of Linux, including kernel space, and experience with network or bus protocols
  • Initial experience with Enterprise Architect is desirable
  • Business fluent German (at least C1) and business fluent English (at least C1)
  • Good communication skills, teamwork, and a high degree of responsibility and resilience
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
