Tasks
- Design, integration and series support of mechanical flight control systems, hydraulics and actuation components using CATIA V5
- Responsibility for design and documentation with regard to weight, safety, cost, maintainability and certification requirements
- System integration and alignment of interfaces within the aircraft environment
- Execution of kinematic analyses, 3D layouts and virtual integration testing in the digital mock-up
- Full product lifecycle support, including change management and obsolescence handling
- Approval of technical drawings and manufacturing documentation in SAP and Windchill
- Creation and maintenance of documentation required for certification, qualification and aircraft maintenance
- Cross-functional collaborationwith avionics, flight testing, manufacturing, airframe architecture and international partners
Qualifications
- Completed Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a comparable technical discipline
alternatively: completed technical vocational training with certified technician qualification and several years of professional experience - Extensive professional experience in design, development, aerospace and technical documentation
- Strong manufacturing expertise with a focus on metallic materials, surface treatment and kinematics
- Confident use of CATIA V5, VPM, SAP and Windchill
- Fluent German and English skills (minimum C1 level)
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (EU) is strictly required (no student visa accepted)
