Tasks
- Creation of hardware layouts for cabin systems and avionics, taking into account technical, regulatory and manufacturing-specific requirements
- Close collaboration with hardware development and mechanical development to align a consistent overall system design
- Participation in cross-site project teams and structured coordination with all internal and external interfaces
- Design and layout of printed circuit boards (PCB design) in accordance with IPC-2221 Class 3
- Support of design reviews, approvals and the associated technical documentation
- Ensuring feasibility and design for manufacturability in cooperation with production and suppliers
Qualifications
- Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechatronics or a comparable field
- Professional experience in layout creation (e.g., PCB design, system layouts)
- Experience working with CAD/EDA tools, preferably Cadence Allegro
- Familiarity with norms and standards such as IPC-2221
- German: fluent/negotiation level (min. C1) and English: advanced (min. B1)
- Independent, team-oriented and responsible personality with a high willingness to learn, initiative and strong communication skills
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
