Tasks
- Design, development, and initial commissioning of project-specific test systems
- Implementation of system requirements in a 19-inch rack design, including electrical, mechanical, and thermal test adaptation
- Definition and design of interface adaptations (test adapters/connection technology)
- Selection of suitable measuring devices, components, and materials for the respective application
- Integration and commissioning of prototypes and support during handover for use
- Creation of documentation and test specifications for development and production
- Obsolescence adjustment and redesign of existing test systems
- Supporting users in production with error analysis and troubleshooting
Qualifications
- Completed degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, communications engineering, technical computer science, or comparable
- Several years of professional experience in hardware or test system development
- In-depth knowledge of measurement technology; knowledge of high-frequency measurement technology is an advantage
- Experience in hardware configuration, version management, and change management is an advantage
- Knowledge of SAP Enterprise Resource Planning and Product Lifecycle Management is an advantage
- Business fluent in German (at least C1); advanced English (at least B2)
- Willingness to travel on business
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
