For ArianeGroup GmbH in Taufkirchen near Munich, we are looking for a Mechanical Development Engineer to start immediately. In this key role, you will develop and validate thermomechanical finite element models for engine and propulsion components – from CAD geometry to load-compliant design.

The gross annual salary is, depending on qualifications, max. 63,141 €. This position is initially to be filled on a fixed-term basis until 30.06.2027. Responsibilities
- Finite Element Modeling using ANSYS/NASTRAN based on CAD geometries, material properties, and requirement specifications
- Thermomechanical Analyses of engine and propulsion components under static, dynamic, and fatigue loads
- Model Validation based on test data or existing reference models
- Analysis Assessment and derivation of optimization proposals for component design
- Result Documentation and professional preparation of analysis data
- Customer Presentation of results, for example within design reviews
Qualifications
- Completed degree (at least Bachelor's) in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable field
- Several years of professional experience in the aerospace industry
- Several years of experience in structural mechanics (metal) and with thermomechanical simulation methods
- Experience in the fields of robustness, dynamic, fatigue, and damage tolerance analysis
- Proficient use of MS Office, NASTRAN, and ANSYS; programming skills in Fortran, Python, or C++ are an advantage
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and business fluent English (at least C1); French language skills are a plus
- Teamwork skills, strong communication abilities, and a high degree of personal responsibility
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
