Tasks

  • Training and gradual assumption of the role of Technical Rater for export control classification
  • Evaluation and classification of products, technologies, and technical data in a military and civilian context
  • Advising engineering teams on the classification of tangible and intangible goods
  • Maintenance and further development of existing methods, processes, and automation solutions
  • Preparation of technical assessments, documentation in SAP, and participation in internal audits
  • Cross-departmental collaboration with Data Leadership, Export Flow Management, and Engineering

Qualifications

  • Completed degree in engineering, mechanical engineering, or aerospace engineering
  • Several years of professional experience in engineering, design, and technical documentation
  • Technical understanding of aircraft or helicopter development, component design, and operating principles
  • Ideally, initial experience in export control classification, customs law, or dual-use regulations
  • Very good English skills (at least C1) required, basic German skills (at least A2), French desirable
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
  • Resume in English required
