Tasks
- Training and gradual assumption of the role of Technical Rater for export control classification
- Evaluation and classification of products, technologies, and technical data in a military and civilian context
- Advising engineering teams on the classification of tangible and intangible goods
- Maintenance and further development of existing methods, processes, and automation solutions
- Preparation of technical assessments, documentation in SAP, and participation in internal audits
- Cross-departmental collaboration with Data Leadership, Export Flow Management, and Engineering
Qualifications
- Completed degree in engineering, mechanical engineering, or aerospace engineering
- Several years of professional experience in engineering, design, and technical documentation
- Technical understanding of aircraft or helicopter development, component design, and operating principles
- Ideally, initial experience in export control classification, customs law, or dual-use regulations
- Very good English skills (at least C1) required, basic German skills (at least A2), French desirable
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
- Resume in English required
