Responsibilities
- Preparing and updating risk assessments for field workstations, in some cases in collaboration with client companies
- Planning and conducting initial and follow-up training for our employees
- Conducting site inspections at our branch offices and at our employees’ work locations
- Investigating workplace accidents and processing accident reports
- Preparing for and participating in Occupational Safety Committee meetings
- Advising management and executives on personal protective equipment and occupational medicine, and serving as the point of contact for audits by the Administrative Occupational Safety and Health Association
- Supporting and representing the security officer in implementing the security manual
- Participating in security screenings, maintaining security files, managing classified information, and conducting security briefings
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or advanced training as a technician or master craftsman/woman, ideally with a focus on safety engineering or industrial engineering
- OR completed training as an occupational safety specialist in accordance with the guidelines of the German Social Accident Insurance (DGUV)
- Experience in the staffing services or industrial sector is a plus
- Knowledge of the Security Protection Manual and the Classified Information Directive, as well as a valid extended security clearance, is a plus
- Business-level proficiency in German (min. C1) required; basic English proficiency (min. B2) is a plus
- Willingness to undergo an extended security clearance as a prerequisite for the position
- Willingness to travel to our locations in Hamburg, Stade, and Donauwörth, as well as a Class B driver’s license
