Tasks

  • Tracking loose and missing parts per helicopter model
  • Liaising with engineering on the implementation of new design concepts
  • Creating and maintaining all relevant manufacturing engineering data
  • Communicating and coordinating upcoming deliveries to the final assembly line (FAL)
  • Responsibility for fixture concepts and acting as the central point of contact for all tooling issues
  • Creation of SAP master data such as parts lists and production plans according to divisional standards
  • Creation of Standard Operating Instructions (SOI) and Fiché Technique (FT)
  • Cost calculations, production cost comparisons (target/actual), and processing of quality reports
  • Supporting production, analyzing problems, and actively participating in optimization projects

Qualifications

  • Completed technical degree (aerospace, mechanical engineering, or comparable)
  • OR completed technical training with further training as a technician
  • Many years of professional experience in work preparation, manufacturing, and production planning
  • In-depth knowledge of aerospace technology or production systems engineering
  • Confident use of SAP, initial experience with Catia V5
  • Knowledge of MTM and REFA required
  • Business fluent German (at least C1) and good English skills (at least B2), French skills an advantage
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
