Tasks
- Select and implement manufacturing and transport tooling to support production
- Translate engineering requirements into shop floor-ready production processes and work orders
- Support the SA Cabin Assembly line operationally
- Identify and resolve production issues in close collaboration with quality, engineering, and logistics
- Document and analyze production processes to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities
- Implement process enhancements to drive continuous productivity improvements (Cost Improvement Measures)
- Advise engineering teams on production-oriented design implementation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related technical field
- Several years of experience in production planning, aircraft manufacturing, or the aerospace industry
- Proficiency in Lean Management and Process Management
- Advanced knowledge of SAP; CAD tool experience is a plus
- Fluent German (at least C1) and proficient English (at least B2)
- Willingness for occasional shift work (2–3 weeks per year)
- Strong sense of responsibility, excellent communication skills, and assertiveness
