Tasks
- Manual finishing of composite components as well as sheet metal sandwich components
- Equipping/assembling cured CFRP and GFRP components
- Performing structural and non-structural bonding
- Documenting work sequences in the manufacturing order
- Ensuring allocation and traceability of materials to the manufacturing order
- Working independently, with a focus on quality and cost awareness (advantage: experience as a production inspector)
- Identifying and reporting potential cost savings within your own work area
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as a Process Mechanic for Coating Technology, Process Mechanic for Plastics and Rubber, or Carpenter
- Extensive professional experience in manufacturing/production and in aerospace
- Experience as a carpenter, in lamination, as a process mechanic, in manufacturing, and in composite manufacturing/processing (CFRP/GRP)
- Confident handling and reading of technical drawings
- German: advanced (min. B1); English: beginner level (min. A1)
- Willingness to work 2nd and 3rd shift and to work overtime
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
