At Airbus Defence and Space GmbH in Manching, you will work as an A400M Aircraft Maintenance Technician, responsible for the maintenance, repair, and modification of a modern military transport aircraft. The gross annual salary is, depending on qualifications, max. 41,966 €. This position is initially to be filled on a fixed-term basis until 31.08.2027. Responsibilities
- Aircraft Maintenance: Perform scheduled and unscheduled assembly, maintenance, and repair work as well as structural repairs on the A400M weapon system
- Fault Analysis: Analyze malfunctions and failures based on reports and rectify them independently
- Modifications: Implement modifications in accordance with drawings and specifications
- Repair Scope: Determine repair and replacement scopes and carry out repairs, adjustment, and setting work on your own responsibility
- Functional Testing: Independently perform functional tests upon completion of work
- Documentation: Document damage reports and record repairs carried out comprehensively
- Quality Assurance: Conduct first-level quality checks and contribute to continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training in a metalworking environment (e.g., aircraft mechanic, industrial mechanic)
- Several years of professional experience in manufacturing or production; comprehensive experience with aircraft is mandatory
- Experience with scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repair, and modification of aircraft
- Knowledge of MS Office; experience with OPAL is an advantage
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and secure English skills in a technical context (at least B2)
- Willingness to work with respiratory protection equipment (G26I) and at computer workstations (G37)
- Teamwork skills, careful and independent way of working, as well as analytical thinking
- CV in English required
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
