Responsibilities
- FAL / Flightline Support, troubleshooting particularly for engine and nacelle components
- Processing customer complaints from our client Airbus regarding our products in a two-shift operation
- Support for our client Airbus and representatives of the airlines during the technical acceptance of the aircraft
- Minor repairs of engine covers and their inspection and documentation
- Replacing components on the engine and engine covers
- Touching up paint damage
- Recording and documenting complaints on engines and engine components in Collins and Airbus IT systems
- Compliance with occupational safety and accident prevention regulations according to UTC EHS policy
- Constant checking of the tools used for completeness and technical condition
- Order and cleanliness at the workplace
- Daily documentation of the work performed
Qualifications
- Completed training as a mechanic
- Experience as a mechanic in the aviation industry and with engines
- Experience in engine installation is desirable
- Language skills: German conversational, English conversational
- Flexibility and sense of responsibility
- Team player
- Willingness to work shifts and weekends
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
