Responsibilities


  • FAL / Flightline Support, troubleshooting particularly for engine and nacelle components
  • Processing customer complaints from our client Airbus regarding our products in a two-shift operation
  • Support for our client Airbus and representatives of the airlines during the technical acceptance of the aircraft
  • Minor repairs of engine covers and their inspection and documentation
  • Replacing components on the engine and engine covers
  • Touching up paint damage
  • Recording and documenting complaints on engines and engine components in Collins and Airbus IT systems
  • Compliance with occupational safety and accident prevention regulations according to UTC EHS policy
  • Constant checking of the tools used for completeness and technical condition
  • Order and cleanliness at the workplace
  • Daily documentation of the work performed



Qualifications

  • Completed training as a mechanic
  • Experience as a mechanic in the aviation industry and with engines
  • Experience in engine installation is desirable
  • Language skills: German conversational, English conversational
  • Flexibility and sense of responsibility
  • Team player
  • Willingness to work shifts and weekends
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
