For our client Airbus Aerostructures GmbH, we are looking for a Certified TIG Welder at the Augsburg site. In a highly specialized manufacturing environment, you will take on demanding welding tasks on complex component geometries for the aerospace industry – where precision and quality are the top priority.

Responsibilities
- Preparation of components for welding, including degreasing, cleaning, and temperature conditioning
- Tacking and welding of pipe and welded assemblies in compliance with customer requirements and operational approvals
- Execution of welding work according to work plans, welding instructions, and sequence plans
- Production of various weld seams on complex component geometries
- Operation of manual and automated equipment such as welding machines and turning automats
- TIG welding in manual, semi-automated, and fully automated execution
- Metalworking tasks such as straightening and grinding of weld seams
- Visual inspection of welding results for quality assurance
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training in a metalworking trade (e.g., welder, industrial mechanic)
- Initial experience in TIG welding, ideally on thin-walled materials
- Knowledge of processes and procedures in the field of welding
- Willingness to familiarize yourself with new processes
- Business fluent German (at least C1); proficient English (at least B2)
- High quality standards, reliability, and teamwork skills
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
