Tasks
- Documenting changes to bending parameters, adjusting data records, and saving programs on data carriers
- Determining clamping options on the tube bending machine (e.g., mandrel position, slide rails, clamping pieces) independently or in consultation with experienced colleagues
- Setting up and, if necessary, converting bending devices depending on tube geometry, as well as checking and adjusting clamping functions according to parameters/samples
- Assigning bending tools and running the programs in single blocks
- Bending and machining pipes and ensuring that the correct part is machined according to specifications
- Measuring and inspecting the machined pipes according to the inspection plan, including documentation of rework and rejects (e.g., cracking, surface damage)
- Readjusting tools according to specifications and entering correction values to ensure dimensional accuracy, quality, and completeness of machining
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as an industrial mechanic, precision mechanic, machining mechanic, or in a metalworking profession, or comparable qualification
- Many years of professional experience in maintenance as well as in aerospace, measurement technology, quality management, and technical documentation
- In-depth application knowledge of SAP
- Business fluent in German (at least C1); advanced English (at least B2)
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
- Good communication skills, ability to work in a team, high sense of responsibility, resilience, and organizational skills
