For our client Diehl Aerospace GmbH, we are looking for a Computer Scientist as IT Security Specialist at the Frankfurt am Main location (alternatively, in Nuremberg or Überlingen). In this central role, you will develop and implement security concepts for the Operations Technology (OT) and IT landscape to protect production and development from cyber threats. You will work at the interface between technology, compliance, and operational practice.

Responsibilities
- Establishment, maintenance, and continuous improvement of a centralized OT asset inventory, as well as its integration into existing CMDB and IT service management processes
- Definition and implementation of governance structures, guidelines, and standards for sustainable OT asset management
- Planning, coordinating, and conducting asset surveys and system inventories in close collaboration with production, maintenance, and business units
- Analyzing and evaluating OT assets to identify security risks, critical systems, and opportunities for optimization, as well as preparing reports and key performance indicators
- Contributing to the further development of the OT security architecture and supporting vulnerability, patch, and incident management processes
Qualifications
- A successfully completed degree in computer science, business informatics, automation engineering, or a comparable qualification (minimum bachelor’s degree)
- Several years of professional experience in the IT/OT security field, as well as in-depth knowledge of asset and configuration management, inventory management, or CMDB-related processes
- Excellent project management skills, as well as experience in managing projects, collaborating with external service providers, and coordinating interdisciplinary teams
- Good knowledge of relevant IT/OT security standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., IEC 62443, ISO 27001, BSI Basic Protection, ideally NIS2)
- Experience with industrial networks, OT systems, and production environments; knowledge of OT monitoring and asset discovery solutions (e.g., Claroty, Nozomi, Tenable OT, or Armis) is a plus
- An analytical and structured approach to work, a high degree of initiative, and strong communication and organizational skills
- Business-level proficiency in German and English, as well as a willingness to work at various production sites
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
