For our client Diehl Aerospace GmbH, we are looking for a Computer Scientist as IT Security Specialist at the Frankfurt am Main location (alternatively, in Nuremberg or Überlingen). In this central role, you will develop and implement security concepts for the Operations Technology (OT) and IT landscape to protect production and development from cyber threats. You will work at the interface between technology, compliance, and operational practice.

Responsibilities


  • Compliance & System Hardening: Maintaining regulatory and normative requirements with a focus on compliance and system hardening
  • Risk Management: Developing, structuring, and analyzing risk assessments and deriving measures within the overarching OT/IT security concept
  • DevSecOps Integration: Active collaboration with colleagues from production, development, and external service providers to develop and integrate secure solutions
  • Audit Participation: Participation in audits for information and industrial security
  • Security Concepts: Further development and establishment of IT security frameworks for a robust and future-proof IT/OT landscape


Qualifications

  • Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable field (at least Bachelor's)
  • Solid practical experience in IT and/or OT infrastructure as well as robust IT security skills
  • Several years of experience with international standards for network, industrial, and information security
  • Very good knowledge of project management
  • Business fluent German (at least C1) and business fluent English (at least C1)
  • Strong communication skills, structured and goal-oriented working style, as well as high flexibility and resilience
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
